I've been meaning to capture the moments that make motherhood so special and although there are many videos and photos which will account for the first 15 months of Tavish's life there are no journals or scrapbooks. So, this blog will document the tid-bits and tales of the moments that make a mother proud, happy and generally enthused about this ride that is motherhood. This has been created for me but I invite you to read, share and enjoy this collection of moments too.

MOMENT: School for Everyone
Keva's first day of school was a few days after Tavish's. Her first day of Junior Kindergarten was a success! Caeli was there to collect her at lunch after a wee-hug from Mommy. The growing up just keeps on happening!
We made another voyage to the sandy beach and sun at Sandbanks for the Labour Day weekend. Camped with some good friends, swam with the sunset, splashed in the waves, stoked the fire, sipped some wine, and played a lot. Summer is sweet...

MOMENTS: Sandy Good Times
Joanne, Cam, Beckett, and Quinn joined us for another long weekend of camping at Sandbanks. The kids played. The parents played. The end of summer was celebrated well again this year.

MOMENT: Beach Babies
Fine, they aren't even close to babies, but they are our babes playing on the beach. Our friends were moving away and all we could do was gather around there "Fine. Go" cake. Love this crew...
One of the things that still impresses me is that in Ontario, you can pick peaches! So, we did!
MOMENT: Peaches and a Hike
We usually have an annual voyage to Niagara Falls, this year, we didn't get all the way there, but did enjoy picking some fresh peaches and playing as a family on an end-of-summer hike...
There are simply too many wonderful memories to fit into one video. So, a few select and specific 'moments' will get their very own post, while this entry captures the overall awesomeness that the summer of 2016 provided the TK2 family!
MOMENTS: New Neighbour, Friends, Family, and Home for a Rest
This summer was the first time that there were days when both kids were at something, and I wasn't at work. Four. Four days that happened. There were a few other days when Keva was off to Mighty Kids (daycare) and Tavish was not in a camp, so we spent a few days together. A summer of change and solo adventures without siblings.
Calendar marking the craziness!
Solo time with the Keevs
Solo time with the Tav-man
MOMENTS: Out, About, and All Around
I like to think of us as the summer trio. Always together, always on the move. This summer offered an occasional pause to the pattern and offered up some solo bonding time. It was neat, both of these kids are a blast to spend time with...
Hands down, the highlight of the summer, every summer. We go home to Fort Frances and everyone feels happy. What's not to be happy about when at the cabin and surrounded by family?
MOMENTS: Cabin, Family, and More!
We spent time with family and felt the northwestern Ontario sun. We loved every minute of it...
