I've been meaning to capture the moments that make motherhood so special and although there are many videos and photos which will account for the first 15 months of Tavish's life there are no journals or scrapbooks. So, this blog will document the tid-bits and tales of the moments that make a mother proud, happy and generally enthused about this ride that is motherhood. This has been created for me but I invite you to read, share and enjoy this collection of moments too.
Keva went on her first field trip at school, of course - I just had to go and be a part of it! Off to the pumpkin farm we went!
MOMENT: Pumpkins and Pals
I won't fib, it was a longer ride on a bus than I was expecting, but there was nowhere else I'd rather be than joining Keva on her field trip. There was a hay ride, a bus ride, a pumpkin to pick, and some animals to follow around...
Ahhh, Halloween - the season of make believe, parties, parades, and oh-so much sugar! And fun, so very much fun too...
MOMENT: Vampire and Chef
The kids had a really good time carving pumpkins and getting into their Halloween costumes this year. Tavish had slicked hair, vampire teeth, and a cape ready to do his thing at a moment's notice. Keva had flour on her cheeks, a chef's hat on her head, and utensils in her pocket ready to bake or cook at a moment's notice. What a lovely holiday for them!
Fall colours are my favourite. Getting away for the long weekend with friends left the whole family full of thanks...
MOMENT: Thankful
Out of the city and off to a cottage. We had a lovely weekend again this year with Megan, Paul, Xavier, and Keir. The colours were lovely and the company lively.
One of our very favourite people got married and we were invited!
Congratulations to Caeli and Eric!
MOMENT: Sharing the Celebration of Love
Mommy was off on her Ladies Canoe weekend in Kawartha Highlands and was back in time to celebrate. It was such a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon seeing Caeli and Eric so happy. We wish them well in their lives together and feel so touched that we were included...
Seems like we've raised pasta lovers! The love of eating pasta started early, and the joy of making it seems to begin around age 4 for our family!
MOMENT: Passion for Pasta
Keva helped out with preparing the mushrooms and bringing plates of pasta to the table. Then, she provided some whispery entertainment for everyone while we enjoyed it!
