Valentine's 2018

For school, Keva gave her classmates play-dough while Tavish made his classmates origami paper airplanes! For our family, we went to go skating at Riverdale but it was too warm, so we played on the snow mountain there. For Tom and I, we enjoyed champagne and each other's company after the kids were down for the night. So much love to give and so much love to receive.

A Sledding Sunday

Yay! Toronto actually got enough snow that we could try to make use of it! It was a fun family sleddy Sunday at Greenwood!

MOMENT: There was a BUMP

Going up with the sled was always worth it because going down was so much fun!

All Snow Will Be Used

The snow has just been so sparse, that the kids will use any amount to build something...even when it doesn't amount to much!

Wilbert Sammon

Finally Mommy had an early settler from her family at the Century School House! Mr Wilbert Sammon was a very good student, he did not speak unless spoken to and understood that children were to be seen and not heard! He was also very mindful of his manners saying "yes please, Ma'am" and "you are welcome, Ma'am" when it was appropriate. He also worked hard at sitting in first position for the day. Ms Taylor was pleased to teach him.

Winter "Camping" 2018

We left the Big City in search of winter! We found some snow at Silent Lake Provincial Park and made the most of it...

 

MOMENT: Wonderful Winter

We met with Megan, Paul, Xavier, and Kier to play outside and remind ourselves what winter is really supposed to be!

Rocking It (Jan 2018)

We show up at a restaurant to meet Kimberly and Isabel after Keva's finished her skating lesson.

Keva: do you know what rockin' it is?

Isabel: Pardon?

Keva: Do you know what rockin' it is?

Isabel: Keva, what do you mean?

Keva: You know, when you rock something?

Isabel: Yes, I know what that means.

Keva: Good because I was rockin' it at skating tonight!

Two Teeth Taken

Over the holidays, we noticed that days of Keva's mouth-full of perfect baby teeth were numbered. Some adult teeth had a mind of their own and were joining her mouth, despite her baby teeth still hanging out...

MOMENT: It was Tooth Time...

On the first Friday after holiday, the dentist took matters into their own hands. Keva lost her first (two) teeth the help of Dr Sugarman (yes, that's the dentist's actual name). Keva was a trooper. The event didn't even dampen her desire to dance and socialize!
