I've been meaning to capture the moments that make motherhood so special and although there are many videos and photos which will account for the first 15 months of Tavish's life there are no journals or scrapbooks. So, this blog will document the tid-bits and tales of the moments that make a mother proud, happy and generally enthused about this ride that is motherhood. Paddle the Rouge

The Rouge River is the last connected area of undeveloped land between the Oak Ridges Moraine and Lake Ontario ... so we paddled it!

MOMENT: Paddle the Rouge!
It's an awareness-raising event that supports work to keep nature a priority in the Rouge park - an idea we as a family can get behind. So, we pulled Sweetride (our canoe) out, dusted off the lifejackets, and put our paddles in the water!
As a family, we even made an appearance in the promotional video for the event. Take special note at the 30 second mark and again at 1.50!
