Without much snow in the city, we were off seeking for some outdoor adventures!

MOMENTS: February Fun!

Family Day weekend brought us north of the city in search of snow. We made it about as far as Barrie just to get enough snow to snowshoe and make a snowman. The next day, we went to Kortright Centre for some nature time with our friends Adelaide and Rachel to climb trees, make bird feeders, hike, climb, and explore. The very next weekend, Keva and Addy explored the art installations at the Beach by bike ... inviting spring, but enjoying what is left of winter. Best part of this season, is the family time we get.

Valentine's Day 2016

Tavish and Keva dressed up for the love of it this Valentine's Day. We picked Daddy up at work, went out for dinner, and capped the evening with a skate at City Hall to celebrate the day of love together...

I took Tavish and a few pals off to see the movie, Sing! Although I may have caught a short nap (what can I say? Moms are tired), these three were riveted!

I picked the Coady trio up from school (Tavish, Riley, Charlie) and had a TTC adventure to the movie, enjoyed some popcorn, then headed home with more adventures and singing of our own...

MOMENTS: Too Many to Name!

It's 2 weeks filled with family fun with a sweet sprinkling of friends too! Mark and Donna brought in the new year with us and we journeyed to Tucson to see Amy, Tom's childhood friend, and her family. Loads of Grandparent and Auntie time, plenty of adventures, and lots of movement. All the good stuff memories are made of... 

I Wish I Were that Lady

We arrived in Buffalo from our trip to Phoenix late last night, so stayed in a hotel. This morning, we are sitting in the breakfast area while Tom went out to try to clear and start our snowy car.

Keva (gets up from the table; heads toward the hotel room)

Tavish (eating breakfast at the table)

Mommy: Keva, it can be hard to wait, but we do things as a family.

Keva (pauses; reluctantly returns to the table)

Keva: I wish I was that lady.

Keva (nods her head toward a woman sitting on her own in the breakfast area)

Mommy: Why?

Keva: Because she is here by herself
